अलिङ्ग-लिङ्ग-निरूपणं तथा प्राकृत-सृष्टिवर्णनम्

महतस्तु तथा वृत्तिः संकल्पाध्यवसायिका महतस् त्रिगुणस् तस्माद् अहंकारो रजो ऽधिकः
Transliteration
mahatastu tathā vṛttiḥ saṃkalpādhyavasāyikā mahatas triguṇas tasmād ahaṃkāro rajo 'dhikaḥ
Translation
マハット（宇宙知性）の働きは、意図（サンカルパ）と断乎たる決定を成すことである。マハットは三グナより成るゆえ、そこから「我」の原理アハンカーラが生じ、ラジャスが優勢となる。
