अथ शृणु भगवन् स्तवच्छलेन कथितमजेन्द्रमुखैः सुरासुरेशैः /* मखमदनयमाग्निदक्षयज्ञक्षपणविचित्रविचेष्टितं क्षमस्व
atha śṛṇu bhagavan stavacchalena kathitamajendramukhaiḥ surāsureśaiḥ /* makhamadanayamāgnidakṣayajñakṣapaṇavicitraviceṣṭitaṃ kṣamasva
いま、福徳なる主よ、聞き給え——讃嘆の姿を借りて語られた、梵天ならびに天と阿修羅の主たちの言葉を。マカ(Makha)を屈し、マダナ(Madana)を挫き、ヤマとアグニを制し、ダクシャ(Dakṣa)の祭祀を奇しくも滅したその御業の顕現を、どうかお赦しください。
