इति श्रीकूर्मपुराणे षट्साहस्त्र्यां संहितायां पूर्वविभागे द्वादशो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच प्रियव्रतोत्तानपादौ मनोः स्वायंभुवस्य तु / धर्मज्ञौ सुमहावीर्यौ शतरूपा व्यजीजनत्
iti śrīkūrmapurāṇe ṣaṭsāhastryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ pūrvavibhāge dvādaśo 'dhyāyaḥ sūta uvāca priyavratottānapādau manoḥ svāyaṃbhuvasya tu / dharmajñau sumahāvīryau śatarūpā vyajījanat
かくして『シュリー・クールマ・プラーナ』、六千頌集（シャットサーハスリー・サンヒター）、前分（プールヴァバーガ）における第十二章は終わる。スータは語った。スヴァーヤンブヴァ・マヌより、シャタルーパーはプリヤヴラタとウッターナパーダを生んだ—二人はともにダルマを知り、大いなる勇力を具えていた。
