तुभ्यमारण्याः पशवो मृगा वने हिता हंसाः सुपर्णाः शकुना वयांसि । तव यक्षं पशुपते अप्स्व१न्तस्तुभ्यं क्षरन्ति दिव्या आपो वृधे
túbhyam araṇyā́ḥ paśávo mṛgā́ váne hitā́ haṃsā́ḥ supárṇāḥ śakunā́ vayā́ṃsi | táva yákṣaṃ paśupate apsv àntás túbhyaṃ kṣáranti divyā́ ā́po vṛ́dhe
To thee belong the forest’s beasts, the wild game set in the wood; the geese, the fair-winged, the birds, the fliers. Thy wondrous power, O Lord of beasts, within the waters—unto thee the heavenly Waters flow, for thine increase.
森の獣、林に宿る野の獲物、鵞鳥、麗しき翼あるもの、鳥たち、飛ぶもの——それらは汝に属する。家畜の主よ、汝のヤクシャ(yakṣa)なる霊威は水のうちにあり、汝を増し栄えさせるため、天の水は汝へと流れ出づ。
