Raṇadīkṣā (War-Consecration) — Agni Purāṇa Adhyāya 235
भेदनं संहतानाञ्च भेदानामपि संहतिः प्राकारतोरणाट्टालद्रुमभङ्गश् च सङ्गते
bhedanaṃ saṃhatānāñca bhedānāmapi saṃhatiḥ prākāratoraṇāṭṭāladrumabhaṅgaś ca saṅgate
近接の交戦においては、密集した敵の隊列を破砕すること、また自軍の崩れた部隊を再び合一し（統合・固め）直すこと、さらに交戦のさなかに城塁・城門・胸壁の楼塔を破却し、防御や障害として用いられる樹木さえ伐り倒すことが説かれる。
