Chapter 33 — पवित्रारोहणविधानं

The Procedure for Pavitrārohaṇa / Installing the Sacred Thread or Consecratory Amulet

ॐ अभिमुखो भवेति प्रार्थ्य सन्निहितो भव विन्यस्यार्घ्यादिकं दत्वा गन्धाद्यैर् मूलतो यजेत्

oṃ abhimukho bhaveti prārthya sannihito bhava vinyasyārghyādikaṃ datvā gandhādyair mūlato yajet

真言「オーム、我に向かって面(おもて)を向けよ」と祈請し、さらに「ここに臨在せよ」と招来したのち、規定のニヤーサ(nyāsa)を行う。次いでアルギャ(arghya)等の前供を捧げ、白檀などの供物をもって根本(すなわち初め)より礼拝を修すべし。
