लोगश उवाच स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय तया समभवन्मुनि: । समये समशीलिन्या श्रद्धावाउ्छुद्दधधानया,लोमशजी कहते हैं--राजन्‌! तब “तथास्तु” कहकर श्रद्धालु महात्मा अगस्त्यने समान शील-स्वभाववाली श्रद्धालु पत्नी लोपामुद्राके साथ यथासमय समागम किया

Lomaśa uvāca: sa tatheti pratijñāya tayā samabhavan muniḥ | samaye samaśīlinyā śraddhāvatyā chuddadhānayā ||

Lomaśa said: “O King, having pledged ‘So be it,’ the sage acted accordingly. In due season he united with his wife—one whose conduct and disposition matched his own—she being faithful and steadfast in her devoted resolve.”
