अध्याय ९० — लोमशोपदेशः तथा तीर्थयात्रानिश्चयः

Lomaśa’s Counsel and the Resolve for Pilgrimage

ऋषिर्महान्‌ महा भागो जमदग्निर्महायशा: । पलाशकेषु पुण्येषु रम्येष्वयजत प्रभु:,महाभाग, महायशस्वी और महाप्रभावशाली महर्षि जमदग्निने परम सुन्दर तथा पुण्यप्रद पलाशवनमें यज्ञ किया था

ṛṣir mahān mahābhāgo jamadagnir mahāyaśāḥ | palāśakeṣu puṇyeṣu ramyeṣv ayajata prabhuḥ ||

Dhaumya said: The great sage Jamadagni—illustrious and highly blessed—performed a sacrifice in lovely and sanctifying groves of palāśa trees. The passage highlights the ideal of sacred action (yajña) undertaken in a pure setting by a spiritually powerful seer, presenting ritual duty as a means of sustaining dharma and auspiciousness.
