Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode

नारद उवाच क्व गताभूत्‌ सुतेयं ते कुतश्चैवागता नृप । किमर्थ युवती भर्रें न चैनां सम्प्रयच्छसि,नारदजीने पूछा--राजन्‌! आपकी यह पुत्री कहाँ गयी थी और कहाँसे आ रही है? अब तो यह युवती हो गयी है। आप किसी वरके साथ इसका विवाह क्‍यों नहीं कर देते हैं?

nārada uvāca | kva gatābhūt suteyaṁ te kutaś caivāgatā nṛpa | kimarthaṁ yuvatī bhāryāṁ na caināṁ samprayacchasi ||

Nārada said: “O king, where had this daughter of yours gone, and from where has she now returned? She has reached the age of youth; for what reason do you not give her in marriage to a suitable husband?”
