Sāvitrī’s Trirātra-Vrata and Departure with Satyavān (सावित्रीव्रतनिश्चयः सहगमनं च)
तस्य तद् वचन श्रुत्वा संगृहा धनुषी शुभे । को<यं पितरमस्माकं नाम्ना$5हेत्यूचतुश्न तो,उनकी ये बातें सुनकर उन्होंने अपने सुन्दर धनुष उतारकर हाथमें ले लिये और परस्पर पूछने लगे कि “यह कौन है जो हमारे पिताका नाम लेकर परिचय दे रहा है"
tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā saṅgṛhya dhanuṣī śubhe | ko 'yaṁ pitaram asmākaṁ nāmnāhētīty ūcatuś ca tau ||
Hearing his words, the two of them took up their splendid bows. Then they said to one another, “Who is this person who is identifying our father by name?”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
