स तावुवाच तेजस्वी सहितौ रामलक्ष्मणौ | गृध्रराजो5स्मि भद्र वां सखा दशरथस्य वै,तब तेजस्वी जटायुने साथ आये हुए श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण दोनों भाइयोंसे कहा--/आप दोनोंका भला हो। मैं राजा दशरथका मित्र गृध्रराज जटायु हूँ!
sa tāv uvāca tejasvī sahitau rāma-lakṣmaṇau | gṛdhrarājo 'smi bhadra vāṃ sakhā daśarathasya vai ||
The radiant Jatāyu addressed Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, who were together: “Blessings upon you both.
