“May auspiciousness attend you; may good be yours—go and continue to accomplish the welfare of the devoted.” Thus instructed by the Pāṇḍavas, Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa departed for the city of Dvārakā, carrying forward his role as a protector and benefactor of those who seek refuge.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights a dharmic ideal: one who has power and capacity—here Kṛṣṇa—should actively work for the welfare (hita) of the devoted and the righteous, and blessings (svasti, bhadra) accompany such service.
After the Pāṇḍavas address Kṛṣṇa with a blessing and an instruction to keep promoting the devotees’ welfare, Kṛṣṇa departs for Dvārakā.
