Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

पाञज्चालस्य च दायादो धृष्टकेतुश्न चेदिप: । केकयाश्व महावीर्या भ्रातरो लोकविश्रुता:,पांचालराजकुमार धृष्टद्युम्न, चेदिराज धृष्टकेतु तथा महापराक्रमी लोकविख्यात केकयराजकुमार सभी भाई क्रोध और अमर्षमें भरकर धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंकी निन्दा करते हुए कुन्तीकुमारोंसे मिलनेके लिये वनमें गये और आपसमें इस प्रकार कहने लगे, “हमें क्या करना चाहिये”

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pāñcālasya ca dāyādo dhṛṣṭaketuś ca cedipaḥ | kekayāś ca mahāvīryā bhrātaro lokaviśrutāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: The heir of the Pāñcāla line, and Dhṛṣṭaketu, the king of Cedi, and the mighty brothers of Kekaya, famed throughout the world—filled with anger and indignation, censuring the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra—went into the forest to meet the sons of Kuntī. Among themselves they began to deliberate: “What should we do?”
