Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः

बने द्रष्टं ययु: पार्थान्‌ क्रोधामर्षसमन्विता: । गर्हयन्तो धार्तराष्ट्रानू कि कुर्म इति चाब्रुवन्‌,पांचालराजकुमार धृष्टद्युम्न, चेदिराज धृष्टकेतु तथा महापराक्रमी लोकविख्यात केकयराजकुमार सभी भाई क्रोध और अमर्षमें भरकर धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंकी निन्दा करते हुए कुन्तीकुमारोंसे मिलनेके लिये वनमें गये और आपसमें इस प्रकार कहने लगे, “हमें क्या करना चाहिये”

vane draṣṭuṁ yayuḥ pārthān krodhāmarṣa-samanvitāḥ | garhayanto dhārtarāṣṭrān kiṁ kurma iti cābruvan ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Filled with anger and wounded indignation, they went into the forest to see the sons of Pṛthā. Condemning the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, they spoke among themselves, “What should we do now?” The verse frames their moral agitation: outrage at injustice turns into a search for right action rather than mere retaliation.
