Akṛtavraṇa’s Account Begins: Gādhi–Satyavatī–Ṛcīka and the Bhārgava Lineage Prelude

कदा तु रामो भगवांस्तापसान्‌ दर्शयिष्यति । तेनैवाहं प्रसंगेन द्रष्टमिच्छामि भार्गवम्‌,उन सबसे मिलकर राजर्षि युधिष्ठिरने हाथ जोड़कर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और परशुरामजीके सेवक वीरवर अकृतत्रणसे पूछा--“भगवान्‌ परशुरामजी इन तपस्वी महात्माओंको कब दर्शन देंगे? उसी निमित्तसे मैं भी उन भगवान्‌ भार्गवका दर्शन करना चाहता हूँ!

kadā tu rāmo bhagavāṁs tāpasān darśayiṣyati | tenaivāhaṁ prasaṅgena draṣṭum icchāmi bhārgavam ||

Vaishampayana said: “When will the venerable Rama (Parashurama) grant his audience to these ascetic sages? On that very pretext, I too wish to behold that divine Bhargava.”
