अकृतव्रण उवाच आयानेवासि विदितो रामस्य विदितात्मन: । प्रीतिस्त्वयि च रामस्य क्षिप्रं त्वां दर्शयिष्यति,अकृतव्रणने कहा--राजन! आत्मज्ञानी परशुरामजीको पहले ही यह ज्ञात हो गया था कि आप आ रहे हैं। आपपर उनका बहुत प्रेम है, अतः वे शीघ्र ही आपको दर्शन देंगे। ये तपस्वीलोग प्रत्येक चतुर्दशी और अष्टमीको परशुरामजीका दर्शन करते हैं। आजकी रात बीत जानेपर कल सबेरे चतुर्दशी हो जायगी

akṛtavraṇa uvāca | āyāneva asi vidito rāmasya viditātmanaḥ | prītis tvayi ca rāmasya kṣipraṁ tvāṁ darśayiṣyati |

Akṛtavraṇa said: “O king, the self-knowing Rāma (Paraśurāma) has already learned that you are on your way. He bears great affection for you; therefore he will soon grant you his audience.”
