Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm

संतिष्ठस्व महाबाहो मुहूर्तमपि भारत । त्वयि तिष्ठति कौरव्य यातनास्मान्‌ न बाधते,“महाबाहु भरतनन्दन! हो सके तो दो घड़ी भी ठहर जाइये | कुरुनन्दन! आपके रहनेसे यहाँकी यातना हमें कष्ट नहीं दे रही है”

saṃtiṣṭhasva mahābāho muhūrtam api bhārata | tvayi tiṣṭhati kauravya yātanāsmān na bādhate ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “O mighty-armed one, O Bhārata, stay—if only for a moment. O Kauravya, so long as you remain here, the torment of this place does not afflict us.”
