तदिदं द्यूतमारब्धं पुनरेव यथा पुरा
tad idaṃ dyūtam ārabdhaṃ punar eva yathā purā
Sañjaya said: “This very game of dice has been set in motion once again, just as it was before.” The line recalls the earlier, fateful gambling that shattered dharma and kinship, suggesting that the same destructive pattern—greed, deception, and moral blindness—is being repeated with renewed force.
