Sañjaya said: “In battle you should not feel the slightest fear of Pārtha (Arjuna). I myself will be your protector, dear one; there is no doubt of it. With my arms guarding you, even the gods would find no force to prevail against you. I shall arrange such a battle-formation that Arjuna will not be able to break through it.”

The verse emphasizes steadiness in battle and the psychological dimension of warfare: fear is to be restrained through confidence in protection and strategy. Ethically, it highlights how leaders attempt to sustain morale—sometimes through assurances that may be more rhetorical than certain.
Sañjaya reports a warrior’s reassurance to an ally: the ally should not fear Arjuna, because the speaker claims he will personally protect him and will arrange a formation (vyūha) that Arjuna cannot penetrate.
