Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 37: Sañjaya’s Account of Abhimanyu’s Precision Disruption of a Chariot Contingent
पुराभिमन्युर्लक्ष्यं न: पश्यतां हन्ति वीर्यवान् । तमाद्रवत मा भैष्ट क्षिप्रं रक्षत कौरवम्,“बलवान अभिमन्यु हमारे देखते-देखते अपने लक्ष्यभूत राजा दुर्योधनको पहले ही मार डालेगा; अतः तुम सब लोग दौड़ो, भय न करो, शीघ्र ही कुरुवंशी दुर्योधनकी रक्षा करो”
purābhimanyur lakṣyaṃ naḥ paśyatāṃ hanti vīryavān | tam ādravata mā bhaiṣṭa kṣipraṃ rakṣata kauravam ||
Sañjaya said: “Before our very eyes, the mighty Abhimanyu will strike down our marked target. Run at him—do not be afraid. Quickly protect the Kuru prince (Duryodhana).”
