नैतस्यान्यो<स्ति संग्रामे प्रत्युद्याता धनंजय । ऋते त्वां पुरुषव्याप्र राक्षसाद् वा घटोत्कचात्,पुरुषसिंह धनंजय! संग्रामभूमिमें तुम्हें अथवा राक्षस घटोत्कचको छोड़कर दूसरा कोई ऐसा नहीं है, जो इसका सामना कर सके
naitasyānyo 'sti saṅgrāme pratyudyātā dhanañjaya | ṛte tvāṃ puruṣavyāghra rākṣasād vā ghaṭotkacāt ||
Vāyu said: “O Dhanañjaya, in this battle there is no other warrior who can truly rise to confront him—except you, O tiger among men, or else the Rākṣasa Ghaṭotkaca. This is a sober appraisal of strength and duty: when a foe is beyond the reach of ordinary fighters, responsibility falls upon the few capable champions, so that the wider host is not needlessly sacrificed.”
