अक्षरब्रह्मयोग (Akṣara-Brahma-Yoga) — Knowledge of the Imperishable, Prakṛti, and Devotion

कामक्रोधवियुक्तानां यतीनां* यतचेतसाम्‌ | अभितो ब्रह्निर्वाणं वर्तते विदितात्मनाम्‌

kāmakrodhaviyuktānāṃ yatīnāṃ yatacetasām | abhito brahmanirvāṇaṃ vartate viditātmanām ||

Arjuna said: For ascetics who have cast off desire and anger, whose minds are disciplined and restrained, the peace of Brahman—liberation—abides all around; it is ever-present for those who truly know the Self. Ethically, the verse points to inner conquest (over passion and wrath) as the ground of spiritual freedom, even amid the pressures of conflict.
