Granting Sañjaya Divine Sight and the Description of Omens

teṣu kālaparīteṣu vinaśyatsv eva bhārata | kālaparyāyam ājñāya mā sma śoke manaḥ kṛthāḥ ||

O Bhārata, when those men, overtaken by Time, begin to perish of themselves, understand it as the turning of Time’s cycle and do not let your mind fall into grief. The verse frames destruction in war as governed by kāla (Time), urging steadiness and discernment rather than paralyzing sorrow.
