Shloka 75

तमेकमभ्यरक्षन्त सिंहनादांश्ष चक्रिरे | तत्रासीत्‌ तुमुल॑ युद्ध तावकानां परैः सह,आपके सैनिक एकमात्र भीष्मकी रक्षा और सिंहनाद करने लगे। वहाँ आपके योद्धाओंका शत्रुओंके साथ भयंकर युद्ध हुआ

tam ekam abhyarakṣanta siṁhanādāṁś ca cakrire | tatrāsīt tumulaṁ yuddhaṁ tāvakānāṁ paraiḥ saha ||

Sañjaya said: They guarded that one warrior alone and raised lion-like battle-cries. There, your forces and the enemy met in a tumultuous and dreadful clash—an image of war’s fierce loyalty and its consuming violence.
