Chapter 74: Non-anger, Forbearance, and the Ethics of Residence

स्पृशतु त्वां समाश्शलिष्य पुत्रो5यं प्रियदर्शन: । पुत्रस्पर्शात्‌ सुखतर: स्पर्शो लोके न विद्यते,“आपका यह पुत्र देखनेमें कितना प्यारा है। यह आपके अंगोंसे लिपटकर आपका स्पर्श करे। संसारमें पुत्रके स्पर्शसे बढ़कर सुखदायक स्पर्श और किसीका नहीं है

spṛśatu tvāṃ samāśliṣya putro 'yaṃ priyadarśanaḥ | putrasparśāt sukhataro sparśo loke na vidyate ||

Duṣyanta said: “Let this handsome boy—your son—embrace you and touch you. In this world, no touch is more delightful than the touch of one’s own child.”
