जलधाराश्व ता: शोषं जम्मुर्नेशुश्न विद्युत: । क्षणेन चाभवद् व्योम सम्प्रशान्तरजस्तम:,जलकी वे सारी धाराएँ सूख गयीं और बिजलियाँ भी नष्ट हो गयीं। क्षणभरमें आकाश धूल और अन्धकारसे रहित हो गया
jaladhārāś ca tāḥ śoṣaṃ jagmur neśuś ca vidyutaḥ | kṣaṇena cābhavad vyoma sampraśāntarajastamaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Then the streams of rainwater dried up, and the lightning flashes ceased. In a moment the sky became clear—its dust and darkness completely stilled.”
