Jarītā–Śārṅgā-saṃvāda: Ākhu-haraṇa and the Approach of Agni (आखुहरणं अग्न्यागमनश्च)
एतच्छुत्वा तु वचन रुद्रेण समुदाह्मतम् । स्वपुरं पुनरागम्य सम्भारान् पुनरार्जयत्,भगवान् रुद्रका कहा हुआ यह वचन सुनकर राजा पुनः अपने नगरमें आये और यज्ञसामग्री जुटाने लगे
etac chrutvā tu vacanaṃ rudreṇa samudāhṛtam | svapuraṃ punar āgamya sambhārān punar ārjayat ||
Hearing these words solemnly spoken by Rudra, the king returned again to his own city and began once more to gather the requisites for the sacrifice—resolute to proceed in accordance with the divine instruction.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights responsiveness to divine counsel and steadfastness in dharmic action: after receiving Rudra’s authoritative words, the king does not waver but returns to orderly preparation, showing that right action includes disciplined follow-through, not merely hearing sacred instruction.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that the king, having heard Rudra’s proclamation, goes back to his own city and resumes collecting the necessary materials for a sacrifice, indicating a renewed commitment to complete the ritual properly.
