अतिनिर्मथनादेव कालकूटस्तत: पर: । जगदावृत्य सहसा सधूमो5ग्निरिव ज्वलन्,तदनन्तर अत्यन्त वेगसे मथनेपर कालकूट महाविष उत्पन्न हुआ, वह धूमयुक्त अग्निकी भाँति एकाएक सम्पूर्ण जगत्को घेरकर जलाने लगा
Transliteration
atinirmanthanād eva kālakūṭas tataḥ paraḥ | jagad āvṛtya sahasā sadhūmo 'gnir iva jvalan |
Translation
Śaunaka said: From that intense churning there then arose Kālakūṭa, the dreadful poison. In an instant it spread over the world, blazing like a smoke-laden fire, as though to scorch all creation—an image of how uncontrolled force, even when born from a shared enterprise, can become a universal peril demanding restraint and responsibility.
