धृष्टद्युम्नेन समागतक्षत्रियगणगणना
Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s Enumeration of Assembled Kṣatriyas
रक्षसा विप्रमुक्तो5थ स नृपस्तद् वनं महत् | तेजसा रज्जयामास संध्याभ्रमिव भास्कर:,उस (मन्त्रपूत जलके प्रभावसे) राक्षसने भी राजाको छोड़ दिया। फिर तो भगवान् भास्कर जैसे संध्याकालीन बादलोंको अपनी (अरुण) किरणोंसे रँँग देते हैं, उसी प्रकार राजाने अपने (सहज) तेजसे उस महान् वनको अनुरंजित कर दिया
rakṣasā vipramukto 'tha sa nṛpas tad vanaṁ mahat | tejasā rajjayāmāsa sandhyābhram iva bhāskaraḥ ||
Released by the rākṣasa, the king then illuminated that vast forest with his own innate splendor—just as the Sun tinges the twilight clouds with his rays. The scene underscores the moral contrast between coercive violence and the steady, self-possessed radiance of rightful kingship.
