एवमुकक््त्वा हिडिम्बां स हिडिम्बो लोहितेक्षण: । वधायाभिपपातैनान् दन्तैर्दन्तानुपस्पृशन्,हिडिम्बासे यों कहकर लाल-लाल आँखें किये हिडिम्ब दाँतों-से-दाँत पीसता हुआ हिडिम्बा और पाण्डवोंका वध करनेकी इच्छासे उनकी ओर झपटा
evam uktvā hiḍimbāṃ sa hiḍimbo lohitekṣaṇaḥ | vadhāyābhipapāta enān dantair dantān upaspṛśan ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Having spoken thus to Hiḍimbā, Hiḍimba—his eyes red with fury—ground his teeth and sprang toward them, intent on killing her and the Pāṇḍavas. The scene underscores how uncontrolled rage and predatory impulse drive one to adharmic violence, setting the stage for resistance in defense of the vulnerable.
