नानृतं तच्चिकीर्षामि क्रुद्धो युष्मान्‌ यदब्रुवम्‌ । न प्रजास्यति चाप्येष मानुषेषु महामना:,“मैंने क्रोधमें आकर तुमलोगोंसे जो कुछ कहा है, उसे असत्य करना नहीं चाहता। ये महामना द्यो मनुष्यलोकमें संतानकी उत्पत्ति नहीं करेंगे

Transliteration

nānṛtaṁ tac cikīrṣāmi kruddho yuṣmān yad abruvam | na prajāsyati cāpy eṣa mānuṣeṣu mahāmanāḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “I do not wish to make untrue what I spoke to you in anger. Nor will this great-souled one beget offspring among human beings.”
