अयं तु यत्कृते यूयं मया शप्ता: स वत्स्यति । द्यौस्तदा मानुषे लोके दीर्घकालं स्वकर्मणा,'किंतु यह द्यो, जिसके कारण तुम सबको शाप मिला है, मनुष्यलोकमें अपने कर्मानुसार दीर्घकालतक निवास करेगा

ayaṃ tu yatkṛte yūyaṃ mayā śaptāḥ sa vatsyati | dyaus tadā mānuṣe loke dīrghakālaṃ svakarmaṇā ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “But he for whose sake you were cursed by me—Dyaus—shall then dwell in the world of humans for a long time, in accordance with his own deeds.”
