अह्ने च त्वा रात्रये चोभाभ्यां परि दद्मसि । अरायेभ्यो जिघत्सुभ्य इमं मे परि रक्षत
áhne ca tvā rā́traye cobhā́bhyāṃ pári dadmasi | arā́yebhyo jighatsúbhya imáṃ me pári rakṣata ||
To Day and unto Night, to both together, we commit thee round about. From foes, from the hungry that would seize, do ye protect this man of mine on every side.
