Sukta 125
नहि स्थूर्यृतुथा यातमस्ति नोत श्रवो विविदे संगमेषु । गव्यन्त इन्द्रं सख्याय विप्रा अश्वायन्तो वृषणं वाजयन्तः
ná hí sthū́ri ṛtúthā yā́tam ásti nót śrávo vivíde saṅgaméṣu | gavyánta índraṃ sakhyā́ya víprā aśvāyánto vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vājáyantaḥ
For, O Stūri, there is no timely coming so, nor is fame won in the encounters: the inspired, seeking cattle, seek Indra for friendship—seeking horses, the Bull, striving for the prize.
