अमुक्था यक्ष्माद् दुरितादवद्याद् द्रुहः पाशाद् ग्राह्याश्चोदमुक्थाः । एवाहं त्वां क्षेत्रियान्निरृत्या जामिशंसाद् द्रुहो मुञ्चामि वरुणस्य पाशात्। अनागसं ब्रह्मणा त्वा कृणोमि शिवे ते द्यावापृथिवी उभे स्ताम्
amúkthā́ yákṣmād duritā́d avadyā́d drúhaḥ pā́śād grāhyā́ś codámukthāḥ | evā́háṃ tvāṃ kṣetriyā́n nírṛtyā jā́miśaṃsād drúho muñcā́mi váruṇasya pā́śāt || anā́gasaṃ bráhmaṇā tvā kṛṇomi śivḗ te dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ ubhḗ stām ||
Loosed art thou from wasting-sickness, from evil hap, from blameful fault; from Druh’s bond, from the Seizer’s grasp—yea, wholly loosed art thou. Thus I release thee from the field-born ill, from Nirṛti, from the kinsman’s curse, from treacherous harm; I loose thee from the noose of Varuṇa. Guiltless by sacred spell I make thee: auspicious for thee let Heaven and Earth, both twain, stand fast.
