Sukta 4
ईजानश्चितमारुक्षदग्निं नाकस्य पृष्ठाद् दिवमुत् पतिष्यन्। तस्मै प्र भाति नभसो ज्योतिषीमान्त्स्वर्गः पन्थाः सुकृते देवयानः
ījānáś cit ā́ arukṣad agníṃ nā́kasya pṛṣṭhā́d dívaṃ út patiṣyán | tásmai prá bhāti nábhaso jyótiṣīmān svargáḥ pánthāḥ sukṛ́te devayā́naḥ ||
The sacrificer, indeed, hath mounted Agni, about to soar upward to heaven from the ridge of the firmament. For him there shines forth, luminous in the sky-space, the heavenly path—the god-going way—for the well-deserving.
