Sukta 3

यो दध्रे अन्तरिक्षे न मह्ना पितॄणां कविः प्रमतिर्मतीनाम्। तमर्चत विश्वमित्रा हविर्भिः स नो यमः प्रतरं जीवसे धात्

yó dadhré antárikṣe ná mahnā́ pitṝṇā́ṃ kavíḥ prámatir matīnā́m | tám arcata viśvámitrā́ havírbhiḥ sá no yamáḥ prátaraṃ jīváse dhāt

He who is set in the mid-air, as by his greatness—the Fathers’ sage, the forethought of men’s thoughts—him worship, O ye friends of all, with oblations: may that Yama ordain for us a further passage unto life.
