अजो भागस्तपसस्तं तपस्व तं ते शोचिस्तपतु तं ते अर्चिः । यास्ते शिवास्तन्वोऽ जातवेदस्ताभिर्वहैनं सुकृतामु लोकम्
ajó bhāgás tápasas táṃ tapasva táṃ te śocís tapatu táṃ te arcíḥ | yā́s te śivā́s tanvò jātavedas tā́bhir vahainaṃ sukṛ́tām u lokám
Unborn is the share of holy heat—do thou heat that; let thy blaze heat it, let thy flame-tongue [do so]. With those thy kindly forms, O Jātavedas, bear thou this man—yea—unto the world of the well-deserving.
