यमः परोऽवरो विवस्वान् ततः परं नाति पश्यामि किं चन। यमे अध्वरो अधि मे निविष्टो भुवो विवस्वानन्वाततान
yamáḥ páro ’váro vívasvān tátaḥ paráṃ nā́ti paśyāmi kíṃ caná | yamé adhvaró ádhi me níviṣṭo bhúvo vívasvān ánvātatan ||
Yama is the farther, the nearer; Vivasvant—beyond that I see not anything at all. In Yama is the rite for me established; Vivasvant hath stretched it along through the worlds.
