तस्यां कदाचित्पुत्रस्तु शूद्राज्जातो विधेर्वशात् । दुष्टात्माऽतीव निर्मुक्तो नाम्ना दुःसह इत्यतः
tasyāṃ kadācitputrastu śūdrājjāto vidhervaśāt | duṣṭātmā'tīva nirmukto nāmnā duḥsaha ityataḥ
Dari dirinya, pada suatu ketika, lahirlah seorang putra dari seorang Śūdra—demi kuasa takdir. Berwatak jahat dan sama sekali tak terkendali, maka ia dinamai Duḥsaha (“sukar ditanggung”).
