Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 98

ददौ स भुवनैश्वर्य्यप्रायानभिमतान्वरान् । तेषां भक्त्यैव संतुष्टो देवब्रह्मद्विषामपि

dadau sa bhuvanaiśvaryyaprāyānabhimatānvarān | teṣāṃ bhaktyaiva saṃtuṣṭo devabrahmadviṣāmapi

Karena puas semata oleh bhakti mereka, Ia menganugerahkan anugerah yang mereka dambakan—hampir menyerupai kedaulatan atas jagat raya—bahkan kepada mereka yang memusuhi para dewa dan Brahmā.
