यज्ञोपवीतं च ततस्तेन विप्रेण बोधितः । यं कञ्चिद्द्रक्ष्यसे लोके भ्रमन्तं भूतले द्विजम्
yajñopavītaṃ ca tatastena vipreṇa bodhitaḥ | yaṃ kañciddrakṣyase loke bhramantaṃ bhūtale dvijam
Kemudian, atas ajaran brāhmaṇa itu, ia pun dikenakan yajñopavīta, benang suci. “Siapa pun yang engkau lihat di dunia ini—seorang dvija yang mengembara di muka bumi—…”
