बाह्यो पवनमध्ये तु पूजयामास तं तथा । अवनिज्य स्वयं पादौ विप्रपादावनेजनम् । धारयामास शिरसा जगतः पावनो हरिः
bāhyo pavanamadhye tu pūjayāmāsa taṃ tathā | avanijya svayaṃ pādau viprapādāvanejanam | dhārayāmāsa śirasā jagataḥ pāvano hariḥ
Di luar, di tengah hembusan angin terbuka, Ia memuliakannya sebagaimana mestinya. Dengan tangan-Nya sendiri Ia membasuh kaki sang brāhmaṇa, lalu Hari—penyuci segala jagat—menaruh air basuhan kaki itu di atas kepala-Nya.
