देवदूत उवाच । त्वं रावणविनाशार्थमवतीर्णो धरातले । स च व्यापादितो दुष्टः पापस्त्रैलोक्यकंटकः
devadūta uvāca | tvaṃ rāvaṇavināśārthamavatīrṇo dharātale | sa ca vyāpādito duṣṭaḥ pāpastrailokyakaṃṭakaḥ
Utusan ilahi berkata: Engkau turun ke bumi demi membinasakan Rāvaṇa; dan si durjana, pendosa, duri bagi tiga dunia itu sungguh telah ditewaskan.
