Transliteration

jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

Translation

Jamadagni berkata: “Wahai Raja, inilah homadhenu-ku—satu-satunya harta, semahal nyawaku. Ia tak boleh diberikan; ia senantiasa patut dipuja. Maka janganlah engkau memintanya.”
