Transliteration

kanyāṃ yacchati vṛddhāya nīcāya dhanalipsayā | kurūpāya kuśīlāya sa preto jāyate naraḥ

Translation

Orang yang karena loba harta menyerahkan putrinya kepada lelaki tua, kepada lelaki hina, kepada yang buruk rupa, kepada yang berkelakuan bejat—orang demikian terlahir sebagai preta.
