ततः कदाचिदेकांते स्थितां तां शांडिलीं द्विजाः । बहिर्गते भर्तरि च तस्याः कार्येण केनचित्
tataḥ kadācidekāṃte sthitāṃ tāṃ śāṃḍilīṃ dvijāḥ | bahirgate bhartari ca tasyāḥ kāryeṇa kenacit
Kemudian pada suatu ketika, wahai para brāhmaṇa, saat Śāṇḍilī berada dalam kesunyian dan suaminya keluar karena suatu urusan, maka (terbukalah) kesempatan untuk mendekatinya.
