ज्ञानेन तं समालोच्य वरमीदृग्गुणोदयम् । धन्यां कन्यां बभाषेथ शृणु वत्से शुभैषिणि
jñānena taṃ samālocya varamīdṛgguṇodayam | dhanyāṃ kanyāṃ babhāṣetha śṛṇu vatse śubhaiṣiṇi
Dengan kebijaksanaan ia menimbang bahwa mempelai pria yang demikian ditandai oleh terbitnya kebajikan-kebajikan itu; lalu ia berkata kepada sang gadis yang diberkahi: “Dengarlah, wahai anakku, pencari keberkahan.”
