प्रणम्य मनसां देवं सांबं सगणमव्ययम् । देशकालोचितं कृत्वा शौचाद्यमपि शक्तितः

Transliteration

praṇamya manasāṃ devaṃ sāṃbaṃ sagaṇamavyayam | deśakālocitaṃ kṛtvā śaucādyamapi śaktitaḥ

Translation

Setelah bersujud dalam batin kepada Dewa segala batin—Śiva yang abadi, bersama Umā dan dikelilingi para gaṇa—hendaknya ia, sesuai tempat dan waktu, melaksanakan penyucian dan tata laku pendahuluan lainnya semampunya.
