शिशुकस्य शिवशास्त्रप्राप्तिः (Śiśuka’s Attainment of Śaiva Teaching and Grace)

It points out that even an ordinary trigger (here, “milk” as the occasion) can generate sorrow, but within Śiva-jñāna that sorrow is traced to its real psychological cause and then integrated—turning the mind toward Pati (Śiva) as the liberating ground beyond grief.
By highlighting how grief arises from worldly conditions and words, the verse supports Saguna Śiva worship (such as Linga-upāsanā) as a practical means to steady the mind, purify emotion, and mature into Śiva-jñāna where suffering is transcended.
A fitting takeaway is japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with contemplation on the cause of sorrow, offering grief into Śiva (Pati) through bhakti and inward inquiry, supported by simple Śaiva observances like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and daily śiva-smaraṇa.
